Brooks is a smart guy, some say, and an exceptional writer and editor. He helps push people to produce their best work. He has an Ivy League degree and a J.D. from a Top-25 law school where he graduated among the top of his class. He grew up in Los Angeles and was a bartender in Philly, then a photographer and a teacher in rural Alabama before making his way to law school in Georgia. From there he spent a decade or so grinding out hours at one of the premier law firms in Atlanta, where he learned from the best and developed extensive expertise in high-stakes litigation, appellate practice and employment law. Although he ultimately came to realize that a life in Big Law was not his Path With Heart, he is grateful for the experience and able now to bring his insight and expertise to bear on helping you to solve whatever problem or conundrum it is that you are facing.
